Arcade - Pro - Elite
Microsoft has 3 basic versions of the Xbox 360 console : the
Xbox 360 Arcade, the Pro Xbox 360 and the Xbox 360 Elite
system. The base system is identical for each with added
advantages to reinforce gameplay and media delight for each
different console bundle.
The Arcade version has limited storage for
arcade games. It wouldn't be gamers first choice for a video
game console.
The Pro Xbox 360 has a 20 Gb hard drive,
which is adequate storage for games and some songs and a video
or two.
The Elite has 120 Gb of storage and comes
included with a HDMI digital audio-video wire.
This is for those users who expect downloading and
storing a lot of video, footage, game info or music. The HDMI
wire is convenient for those that need that sort of connection
for their home theater system.
The Elite is the sole system that is all black too. All of
the systems have Silver Xbox live memberships and a wireless
controller included. Game compatibility is similar for the
regular and Elite consoles. They have compatibility with all
Xbox 360 games and over three hundred original Xbox games.
The Arcade version is compatible with all Xbox 360 games.
Glaringly the costs for the consoles are dissimilar. The arcade
machine can be had for around $280. The Pro sells for around
$350. The Elite goes for $450. The Xbox console isn't that
large when compared to the Nintendo Wii and Playstation three.
It is sleekly designed and has interchangeable faceplates that
permit it to be fitted into a home theatre rack. The wireless
controller is truly cool and splendidly convenient.
The Xbox console supports 4 wireless controller devices. The
Xbox 360 has dazzling graphics. All of the games are optimized
for high definition output. In addition, it's USB 2.0 ports for
attaching accessories. Accessories include a wheel for driving
games and a discuss messenger that enables you to send instant
messages to your pals whilst you are playing.
These accessories are not included with the console bundle
and must be bought separately. The Xbox 360 console is HD
prepared for games and has Dolby Digital sound to give players
a total surround sound gaming experience. The console will play
on any TV, high definition or not. You simply have to have the
video and audio inputs for the Television or home theater
system.
The Xbox 360 console plays audio CDs, as well as DVDs,
stores picture and will play mp3's. The Xbox 360 truly
represents a massive jump forward in next generation gaming
technology.
